Description
The Hornby J52 does a good job of capturing the character of this classic GNR design, but it incorporates some dimensional errors from the use of the standard Hornby six-coupled mechanism. There are also some compromises caused by the manufacturing method, notably the infill between the bottom of the saddle tank and the footplate. This conversion attempts to address these shortcomings. It enables an accurate model to be made from the Hornby body, and should be used in conjunction with the MT106S etched chassis kit.
