Description
Built to the limit of the L&Y loading gauge, these handsome 54′ carriages had a striking modern appearance and were usually seen between two D94 brake thirds. Ninety-one were built between 1907 and 1911. After the Grouping, they were seen throughout the LMS system, particularly in Scotland and South Wales. The kit is supplied with the earlier pattern bogies with conventional outside springs. If you want the later bogies, choose kit LYRD086L instead.
