Description
This casting represents the type of finial used in wooden posts and dolls by the Great Central Railway, and its predecessor the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway. A very similar design was also found on tramway poles. GCR lattice posts used SC02. Dimensions are approximately 17½mm high x 5½mm wide.
