Description
Saxby & Farmer signals have been in use since the 1860s in various forms and often remained in their original condition until the BR resignalling of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Some may still be seen on the Bluebell Railway and other preserved lines. The actual size of the fret is 96½ x 149mm; it is etched in 0.015″ brass.
Modellers of the Great Eastern Railway are advised to purchase S010/2 instead as this contains GER arms only and is thus better value.
