Description
This pack contains sideframes, brake gear, cylinders, coupling and connecting rods, LS5 bogie and LS8 crossheads to produce a chassis for use as a replacement for the Hornby model (see below). Wheel bearings (for 1/8″ axles) are included. 00 gauge frame spacers are also included – you will need to order a separate fret of EM (LS10) or P4 (LS60) spacers if you model in those gauges.
The Hornby model has a 40mm wheelbase, and this chassis has been designed to match. It is not suitable for more recent scale models with the prototypically correct 38mm wheelbase.
