Description
One uncoupling electromagnet for use with Sprat & Winkle and D. G. autocouplings. It is also suitable for use with other couplings which require a magnetic “pull down”.
The recommended power supply is 12V DC, and it should be operated by a SPST non-latching switch (as supplied), as the electromagnet is not designed to take continuous current. Because of this, it is unsuitable for semaphore signal operation.
The actual size of the electromagnet is 32mm tall x 39mm wide x 25mm deep. The pole is 5.0mm diameter, and projects 13.7mm above the baseplate.
This is a temporary replacement for the unavailable PK MAG.
