Description
Built to the limit of the L&Y loading gauge, these handsome carriages had a modern appearance. They were used on through services arriving daily at four London termini and to destinations as diverse as Yarmouth and Edinburgh. The first ten built were banned from Scotland and the MR due to their height. The kit is supplied with the later pattern bogies with internal springs. If you want the earlier bogies, choose kit LYRD084E instead.
