Description
For gangwayed carriages and parcels stock with end loading doors. The buffers are handed: view them with the clipped top uppermost as though you are looking at the carriage end from the outside. Look at the fixing bolts – you will note that the two on one side are closer to the conical housing than the two on the opposite side. If the closer two are to the left, it’s a left-handed buffer and vice versa. The buffers in the photo are aligned correctly.
