Description
These carriages were originally built as excursion stock. Separate guard’s and luggage accommodation were provided, the latter carrying 2 tons. All but four were converted to micro-buffets in 1980/81 with no obvious external alterations apart from signage. The photos show the similar D183 with B1 bogies (Comet kit B7K).
