Description
These coaches were built by two companies, the Birmingham Carriage and Wagon Co. Ltd (BRCW) and Pressed Steel Fisher Ltd (PSF). Most of the BRCW builds had BR B2 bogies (as represented by this kit); the remainder and all the PSF builds had the Commonwealth type (Comet kit B19AK). Please check with photographs before ordering if you are modelling a specific carriage. The BRCW B2 batch were originally allocated to all the British Railways regions. Eleven were converted in 1967 to 4-REP EMU cars.
